The versatility of crowns is undeniable. But if there were one aspect of them that could be considered inconvenient, it would be having to wait for them. At Pine Ridge Dental, we are pleased to offer 12056 CEREC crowns that can be completed in just one day. So instead of having to make two trips and be fitted with a temporary crown in the meantime, you can have it all done in just one session.
Our 12056 CEREC crowns give you all of the benefits of traditional crowns, but with the added advantage of having it done right away. Consider all of the situations in which a crown is essential. Some common examples are when you have a chipped or cracked tooth that needs to be repaired; or to cosmetically enhance a tooth that is discolored, crooked, or otherwise aesthetically imperfect; to restore a tooth that has undergone root canal therapy back to its normal size; and as a key part in full-tooth restorations such as dental bridges and implants. The way our 12056 CEREC works is with the assistance of modern 3-D computer software. Instead of having to take standard impressions, send them off to the dental lab, fit you with a temporary crown, and then have you return when the crown has been crafted so that the temporary can be removed and the permanent one placed, the system is much more streamlined. Measurements are taken and then the data is put into our on-site machine that makes our 12056 CEREC. It’s all state-of-the-art and done while you wait. Your new crown will be made to the highest level of precision and quality. You’ll walk out with a fully functioning crown.
There’s no reason not to take advantage of this outstanding advancement in restorations. We understand how valuable your time is and it is our respect for your busy schedule that resulted in our commitment to more efficient methods. Call us to schedule an appointment.
Nowadays we all enjoy the convenience of things happening immediately that used to take days or weeks in the past. Now, they can paint your car in one day, replace a windshield while you wait or put a new bathtub over the old one in a matter of hours. Wouldn’t it be nice if they could do something like that with dental restorations? Well, the doctors at Pine Ridge Dental can. Using 12056 CEREC crowns our practice can fabricate and install crowns in just one office visit.
Our 12056 CEREC crowns are fabricated right in our office instead of in an outside laboratory. Actually, our office becomes the laboratory and the whole process is under the control of our doctor and not a technician. CEREC uses computer guidance and a special cutting tool to fabricate your crown. Whether it is to cover a crack or chip, top an implant, cover a major renovation or an endodontic treatment the CEREC system can be used. The way CEREC works is our doctor uses the special CAD-CAM CEREC scanner to make an image of the prepared tooth and the restoration. Our doctor can then make any changes and design the crown as well as matching the color of adjacent teeth. The computer then uses a special milling machine in another room that takes a solid block of porcelain and custom grinds the crown or inlay, onlay or veneer. In just a few minutes the crown is ready to be put on.
There are many benefits of 12056 CEREC crowns: they are done in just one visit as opposed to at least two visits separated by two weeks or more with traditional crowns, modifications can be made on site instead of sending the crown back to the lab for fixing, there are no messy impressions with CEREC crowns and our doctors can even do several different restorations during the same appointment. Why wait for a crown call our office for an appointment.

Do you need to get a dental crown, or need dental work performed which will cause you to need a dental crown — and you are putting it off because you do not want to make many trips to the dentist? If this is the case, you should visit us at Pine Ridge Dental, where we are able to provide patients with CEREC single-visit crowns. At our 12056 dental office you will be able to have dental work performed by one of our two top dentists, Dr. Don P Evans and Dr. Rebecca Evans, and get a complete dental crown all in a single visit!
When you need to get a regular dental crown, you will first need to have an impression taken of your tooth which is then forwarded to the dental lab. At the dental lab, your new crown will be created and sent back to your dentist. Then you will need to return to your dentist office, have the temporary crown removed, and then have the new crown installed. However, there are some times when the new crown needs to have adjustments made, and so you once again need to get the temporary crown installed, and then return at a later date when the revised crown is ready for installation. With CEREC single-visit crowns there is no need for any of this to occur. When dental work is completed, and your tooth is ready for its new crown, our dentist will use computer technology to determine what the new crown should look like. This information will then be used by our milling system, which is located in our office, which will be able to create your new crown in about 15 minutes. Immediately after this your new crown will be ready to be installed. When you leave our office shortly after, will not be any need to return to our 12056 dental office regarding the CEREC crown.
